The Oriental Hotel Bataan - Mariveles

We spent Christmas vacation in a stylish hotel, which was close to town, but still kept its isolation. the hotel's staff was well-staffed, with a small resort feel and live entertainment added to our romantic retreat experience. the hotel provided two complementary services and its location between the mountains and sea brought stunning views.

There also seemed to be some inadequacies in staff training as service was slow and inquiries went unanswered for longer periods, reducing the overall experience.

The cozy and tranquil atmosphere instantly made me feel relaxed. The pool, although not heated in the morning, provided a refreshing experience. The food, while a bit pricey, was delicious and satisfying.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. They even arranged transportation to the nearby white sand beach, and our driver gave us an interesting and informative chat about the history and culture of the area. We loved the cocktails and fruit drinks served at the hotel.

There may not be many activities outside of the hotel, and the immediate surroundings are not suitable for walks or beaches. However, there are some natural and historical attractions further away in Bataan.

Located near the white sand beach and Convention Center in a non-touristy area of Bataan, the hotel promises great facilities and view. Rooms are spacious, clean with large bathrooms, and the breakfast package is good. the staff is friendly and accommodating, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The hotel comes up short in terms of their seafood buffet schedule and availability. Often, guests have reported a disappointing range of options and not the best service in the restaurant area, such as unavailable dishes and lengthy waiting periods.

My partner and I had a truly delightful and romantic escape at this hotel. The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area and easy access to the beach. We loved the fact that the hotel had a spa and gym, which allowed us to relax and stay active during our stay. The food was also outstanding, with a fantastic selection of local cuisine and fresh seafood on offer.

That the staff seemed a little understaffed at times, which meant that service took a little longer than we would have liked. However, this was only a minor issue and did not detract from our overall experience.

We loved the helpful and informative staff who arranged transportation to the white sand beach. Cocktails and fruit drinks were delicious, and the breakfast was enjoyable with live sparrows chirping. The rooms were clean, and the view of the mountain meeting the sea was fantastic.
